Hi,
I am the resident of Bhartiya City Nikoo Homes, Thanisandra, North Bengaluru.
We residents are facing a issue with our Internet service provider which is Surround net. Its a local internet service provider and its the one of service provider in Nikoo homes apart from BSNL. Our Builder community ICM has some partnership with Surround net and they are not allowing some good Internet service providers like AIRTEL, JIO, ACT inside the campus. I along with several other residents reached out to these service providers but they always told that Bhartiya city ICM is not allowing us inside the campus.
Surround net service is pathetic and their customer care is worst, every now and then we are facing disconnection, server down problem which is very frequent. They even don’t answer our call which is very unprofessional. In addition to that they charge huge ammount of Tariff for the internet plans which are way higher than other very good providers.
As you know due to COVID-19, we working professionals are now working from home as per company directives but in this situation and with this pathetic network connectivity option we are not able to work at all and we have to go to office which is not safe and not recommended by govt as well and our company.
There is a monopoly of surround Network in our complex and builder is supporting them may be because builder earn hefty amount of money from them.
As per the above concern, I need your kind intervention in this issue so that we can get some options for internet providers. As per law we have rights to choose services we require but in Bhartiya city we cannt, due to Builder and Surround Net monopoly.
Above all Many service providers tried to do the feasibility test for the connection, who are being trashed by Surround Network Guys as they are the Rowdies of this area.
