Text of Complaint by Piyush Mahajan:

I have made a recharge on 12-02-2020 on my BSNL number 9882370484. The reference no.  was shared by Paytm was – 4620976716. Despite the recharge being shown successful , I haven’t received any credit.  Paytm executives told me to report this matter before BSNL customer Care. After that, I sent email to them. BSNL confirmed me that my recharge cannot be initiated as they do not authenticate the recharge done by third party.

After that, I reported the matter before to the Paytm executives. the screenshot of email was delivered to them as well. They assured me to solve this problem by 17th February.  But on 17th February , they told me  to share the written communication with BSNL which I had delivered. I  Thereafter,they told me to wait it 20th February.  I waited but again they avoid their liability and started using delaying tactics.

The next promised date was 24-03-2020. I again texted them to kindly refund my money or credit the balance amount. They. are not  replying.

Sir,

This is a serious issues which need to be addressed. They are committing fraud under the garb of payment banks. If the BSNL does not authenticate third party recharges then why Paytm is accepting the BSNL recharges. Kindly take a notice of this.

Therefore, it is humbly prayed that strict action must be taken against them and ordered them to refund my amount. Any other relief may also be given in the interest of justice.
