I have booked an OYO Hotel Elite Lifestyle Red Rose Near 7d Voyage from 23rd July to 24th July 2023 for my uncle and cousin who went to the bangalore as 24th is the first day for my cousin to on-board for her first company.
I have made the payment of 1154/- through online for two occupancy and my booking is confirmed. But 2 hours before checkin when I checked the app the occupancy for my booking was changed from 2 to 3 persons and asked me to pay extra 311/-. When I address the same to the customer care they said they tried checking with hotel but there was no response to them from the hotel and suggested me to cancel the booking and book newly.
I said if i book again i have to pay more than the price what i have made for the booking now. They are not ready to help me anyway and told me that I have to pay extra amount which is shown in oyo or cancel the booking and book the hotel again.
Since my uncle and cousin were new to the city and cant make them to wait for longer time I have paid the extra amount what they asked for even though there nothing wrong from my end.
After checkin i again called the customer care that I have paid extra amount if there is any possibility to refund the extra money back to me they are stating that i have paid the money on my wish and they cant do anything.
Kindly take necessary strict action on Oyo as there are lot of people travel to new places for many reasons if this kind of bad service they are giving to the customers means they will be helpless in the new places.
