Text of Complaint by Shwetabh Suman:

7 days prior to expiry got a recharge popup displayed with an option to exit by pressing ‘ok’ on remote controller. But it doesn’t work as specified blocking access to channel while the service is still active.
On talking to representative She caused illogical and unethical trouble to senior citizens by suggesting alteration in the hardware (wires and plugs) whereas the problem is completely from backend and of software nature – “unnecessary and unasked recharge reminder proper during active plan”.
After trying everything as per her suggestion when the Customer representative was asked to stop the popup from provider’s side where it originated in the first place she plainly and clearly refused that they won’t remove the popup. On further request she agreed that a senior will call right after the call but it didn’t happen.

All the interaction is duly recorded loud and clear.

There is a case of ‘inconvenience’ plus ‘violation of service term by blocking access’ plus ‘unnecessary harassment of senior citizen’ and ‘refusal to customer redressal’ and ‘wastage of precious time without solution’ and ‘fake promise of redressal by senior’
