My vodafone number is 8723002882 and registered e-mail ID is manisha.jain284@gmail.com.

I received a call on 20 February 2019, around 4PM, requiring certain documents to be submitted with the Vodafone store for verification. No reason was provided as to why such documents are required. I was informed that if I do not submit the documents within 48 hours my number will be blocked. I have already submitted my documents yesterday, with your Vodafone store at GS-9, Regent Square, JMD Towers, Mehrauli Gurgaon Road, Near Bristol Hotel, Gurgaon at 10.40 am on 22 February 2019, which was within the specified time frame of 48 hours.

However, my number has been blocked and I am unable to use any services (not that Vodafone services are any great).

I would also like to highlight certain events in this regard:

1. The person who spoke to me on 20 February 2019 informed me that I could submit the documents if I wanted, else Vodafone would block my number. The lady literally issued a warning, without any regard for customers which is basic mannerisms in a service industry.

2. On 21 February 2019, when I called up the Vodafone customer care to inquire the nearest store address, I was informed about the store at Belvedere Towers, Gurgaon. I went to the store only to discover that it has been closed. I was also told that I need not submit any photograph along with the documents.

3. I finally went to the JMD Regent Square store and was asked to provide a photograph! Nonetheless, I furnished all the documents yesterday to Ms. Priyanka at the JMD store yesterday at 10.40 am.

In spite of all the above, my NUMBER HAS BEEN BLOCKED.

Let me know the reasons for such irresponsible treatment and harassment meted to customers in spite of complete documentation.
