Text of Complaint by C Nair:

I am the subscriber o Vodafone mobile no.9920246665 since last many years.  I have lodged many complaints to the Customercare since more than five months about a peculiar problem faced by me, but as the issue remains unresolved, I have repeatedly made the complaints to the Customercare as well as written to their Appellate forum as also to their Nodal officer, but there is no response forthcoming from any of these authorities.

In the month of January, 2020, I have recharged my mobile for a validity period of 365 days, and paid an amount of Rs.2,499/, which is valid till 14th January, 2014.  The said plan offers me Unlimited local/STD/National Roaming+ 1.5GB daily data.

From the time I have availed this plan, I have been facing difficulty in connecting to my Landline residential numbers located in Kerala (I don’t know about others sectors, as I don’t have any contacts in those places).  Upon dialing the landline based in Kerala, without any voice message, the call abrupt;ly ends with a message displayed on screen “Call ended”.  I may point out that I am able to get the call connected with other service providers as also my contacts from Kerala are able to connect me from the same number to my above Vodafone number.   It seems that Vodafone has deliberately barred outgoing STD calls to the landlines which is not in sync with the plan offered by them of “UNLIMITED STD/LOCAL CALLS TO ANY NUMBER”, which amounts to a serious cheating case as also a wrong marketing strategy adopted by them in order to expand their customer base
I have made a number of complaints to the customercare last being under Ticket o.V00001108965, which was to be resolved on or before 19th June.  However, to my surprise I received another message on 16th Jun which states that the issue raised by me has been resolved and accordingly closed the complaint, while in reality no action has been taken fromgtheir end to resolve the issue faced by me since so many months.
On my subsequent follow up with your team, I am given another Ticket No. V00001397229 and was given a time limit to solve the issue,  but after 2/3  days without any further communication, I again received a message which is reproduced below, stating that my complaint has been resolved.   With this kind of response, I have reason to believe that there is no accountability for Vodafone or any seriousness in solving the issue faced by a customer.
I hereby lodge my strong protest against Vodafone and request your goodself to take this issue on hand and urge Vodafone to resolve the issue.  I am planning to port the number to other service providers and claim refund of the amount paid by me as Vodafone has completely failed to provide the services offered by them
