A loan app named “Saree Cash” has credited Rs.1600 into my bank account without my acceptance or application for a loan and demanding to repay Rs.3000.
In the google play. I supposed to see an app named “saree Cash”. But I didn’t downloaded it or installed it.
But in few minutes I received a call from an ISD number and guy who called me introduced himself as from Saree cash and offered me loan with minimum interest and long repayment tenure. I said No.
After fews days on 25th November, I faced an unavoidable emergency need of money.
So I tried Saree Cash app from google play store. I uploded my PAN, Aadhar, Bank details and emergency contact numbers. But no loan approved and no messages from the app. So I waited few minutes and closed it down.
In another few minutes Rs.1600 sent my bank account. I suspected that amount could be from Saree Cash app.
So I opened it and saw. In that app it showed Rs.3000 as repayable on 30th November. ie just 6 days. I was shocked to see that Rs.1400 interest for just 1600 rupees.
So I tried to cancel it. But no way to contact them. I waited.
On 29th November, ie 5th day of the repayable dated mentioned in the app, a guy called me over whatsapp call from international ISD code demanded me to pay Rs.3000 immediately and sent me my mobile contact list and photos.
I shocked and repaid and uninstalled the app. But in few minutes again they sent me Rs.1600. So they will demand me force’me and threaten me to repay Rs.3000.
This is not only a fraud but an online Robbery. Innocent people may affect a lot.
I could see lot of complaints abou this Saree Cash app in this forum.
Same kind of criminal incidents committed by that culprits.
A complaint to the cyber crime police station has been given.
Kindly take necessary action on this culprits.
