Text of Complaint by Md. Nawaz Rahaman:

Dear Consumer Complaints Court Team,I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to request assistance in filing a formal complaint against Jio Fibre for a billing issue that I have encountered as a customer.On September 10th, 2023, a day before my billing cycle on September 11th, 2023, I changed my Jio Fibre internet plan from Rs. 999 to Rs. 699. Despite receiving confirmation of the plan change, my dashboard continues to display that I owe the full bill amount, including the charges for the old plan. When I contacted Jio Fibre’s customer care team, I was informed of an unwritten requirement to request plan changes at least 2 days prior to the billing date. This lack of transparency has resulted in a situation where I am being unfairly charged for two internet plans for the same billing cycle.I have attempted to resolve this matter directly with Jio Fibre’s customer support team, but my efforts have been met with resistance and an unwillingness to rectify the situation. Given the unjust double billing and lack of cooperation from Jio Fibre, I believe that filing a formal complaint is the appropriate course of action.I kindly request your guidance and assistance in initiating the complaint process on ConsumerComplaintsCourt.com.
