Text of Complaint by Nandan Shah:

Bescom, the electricity company in Bangalore charges a fixed charge of Rs 110 + taxes on each KW of sanctioned load every month. Since I never use more than 3KW, I had raised a request to reduce my sanctioned load to 5KW so that I can reduce my monthly electricity bill. Bescom consumer portal has an option to make online request to reduce the load. I created a service request (ID: 8333513342) on their portal to reduce the load on 23 August, 2022 but they have not fulfilled my request and they continue to add that fixed charge of Rs 220 for 2KW that I had asked to reduce. I want to file a complaint against them for delaying the fulfillment of my request and making me pay extra charges for last 10 months.
