The Consumer Complaints Court of India,
I am writing to file a complaint against AVS Immigration, located at Deepali Building, 505, 5th Floor 92, Nehru Place, New Delhi, Delhi 110019, for the unfair and unethical business practices that they have employed while providing immigration services to me.
I engaged with AVS Immigration in the year 2020 to help me immigrate to Canada. They initially called me to take an immigration eligibility test, which cost me INR 3540. Once the test was done, they asked me to pay a total sum of INR 100300, which included a fee of INR 85000 and INR 15300 as GST. Additionally, they asked me to do a WES evaluation, for which I had to pay another INR 15000. Post the WES evaluation, I had to pay nearly INR 6000 for transcripts and balance formalities. Later, they asked me to take the IELTS exam, which cost me INR 14900, and I scored the required score in the first attempt itself.
However, AVS Immigration advised me to take the IELTS exam again to increase my chances of selection, which I did, paying them an additional INR 14500. After the exam, they informed me that my scores were good, but I was not selected. Later, they called me and informed me that my contract had expired, and I needed to renew it by paying more money.
Throughout the entire process, AVS Immigration’s response was very poor, and I had to call them multiple times to get a response. I asked them to create the email credentials under my existing account but again they refused to do the same and created in their own credentials which I am currently not able to access at all. They also promised to provide me with IELTS coaching, which was not provided.
The total loss for me is INR 168740, and I feel cheated and humiliated by AVS Immigration’s unfair and unethical business practices. Therefore, I request you to take appropriate action against them and help me recover my money.
