Text of Complaint by meera porwal:

i bought a six month plan to upgrade from lower speed plan to upto 100mbps 999/- per month plan. at the time of purchase from the agency they also did not mention correctly but said minimum speed i will get will be 40-60mbps.

the installation of the plan and the fibre was delayed by a month in addition the actual highest speed received is 16mbps.

What is this scam? what is airtel’s representation and understanding of upto??how do you interpret upto 100?it sure doesn’t translate into 16mbps at best.

the plan was purchased from agency, then also they dint tell us what will be the best speed feasible in our area.this is stealing of peoples money by marketing gimmicks in broad daylight. now i am left with an expensive plan with a useless speed. charged for a premium service for a place where they don’t have the capacity or infrastructure to provide.

my grievance is why these looters are selling services at areas they cant deliver? this is deliberate with-holding of information at the time of purchase is denying our right to information before buying the services.

In addition i am charged exta 1 months plan rental fee because they did not initiate the plan within 7 days of purchase as committed.bill date -03.02.2019.relationship id with airtel broadband services is 7032235699

I look forward to corrective action and stronger policies so that consumer are not duped by such cheap gimmicks
