Text of Complaint by Ankur Attri:

I have monthly plan activated for Rs 399. I have always paid the bill through the vodafone app. last month, the app was showing the amount of Rs 1870 which was suspicious as I did not receive the e-bill.

Vodafone, the next day barred my outgoing. As I need to attend important ph calls, I was bound to pay the whole amount of Rs 1870.

Upon investigating within the app, it was showing a different email i.d. and a different address. I edited the email i.d but was not able to edit the address as it was not editable. I requested to generate duplicate bill and resend it to my email i.d on which I found that the Phone bill of some another Third person is added into my account who is not known to me.

Then I found that the address the app was showing is of the same unknown person. The e-bill generated displayed each call I made in the last month and the phone bill of my number displayed Zero charges for my calls and zero charges for the internet, only the pack amount.

This is a case of fraud that how the company can associate my number with any random person and share my personal details with him.

This is highly a case of negligence by the company and the person whom so ever he is, not paying the bill from last two months and instead the company is adding his bill and charging it from my account.
