Purchased Apple Air Pods Pro (Rs. 20,990) on 6th Sept 2021. Delivery done on 7th Sept. The box was not having Apple Seal but mere cellotape. The product inside did not have the cover wrapping new products of Apple and had scratches. The product was in used condition. We made calls to customer care that very evening, the product was delivered. The first customer care executive was so relaxed and spoke in a sing song tone. He asked us to contact Apple Care. We called Apple and they said the tampering was done by Amazon seller and we should contact Amazon Customer Care. We called Amazon Care second time that evening and a lady promised to file replace of item which will be updated within two hours. We waited till next day but found no update on the order. We called customer care the third time and they asked us to contact customer care again and even better visit Apple store. They did not take responsibility for their fake seller. They did not initiate a replacement. We escalated the call to higher customer care personnel and all they said was sorry and inconvenience caused but no help, not even a replacement. We are prime cutomers of Amazon. We use their pay later option, AMAZON credit card and buy a whole load products from groceries to electronics, furnishings, home decor, etc. This was a learning to never buy from Amazon, firstly a high value product as they are so careless about replacement and their sellers. Secondly, never buy Apple Products on Amazon and their reply for most branded products might be to contact the product customer care or visit store. I regret not buying the product from a store rather than Amazon. The fact that this was a gift and had a cover selected with this product was the reason we ordered from Amazon. The whole occasion was ruined, time wasted on irresponsible amazon customer care executives and we are left running between Apple and Amazon for a used product.
