I have an account in RBL bank (Lower Parel Branch, Mumbai)
Details are as follows:
Account number: 309002053800
Name – Aamish garg
This is to bring to your notice a case of serious malfunctioning while making online fund transfer. We intended to do following fund transfer:
Paytm wallet to RBL : 5,600 INR (IMPS reference number: 900416602570, Transaction ID 22263931706, Date: 2019-01-04 Time: 04:20:56 PM
Paytm wallet number – 8239330095
Account holder name – Alis Garg)
For this transactions, the beneficiary account of RBL was same.
To transfer funds we need to enter correct account number and IFSC code, but by mistake we entered the incorrect account number and correct IFSC code.

Account Number: 309002053800 (Lower Parel, Mumbai)
IFSC: RATN0000088 ( Lower Parel, Mumbai)
Wrong Account (Details entered In which amount got credited):
Name: Aamish Garg
Account Number: 309002503800 (Bhopal Branch – RBL)
IFSC: RATN0000088 (Lower Parel, Mumbai)
So logically this account number didn’t exist in the branch for which IFSC code was entered. We entered the IFSC code of Mumbai branch and account number of Bhopal branch. But still the transaction went through and amount got transferred to Bhopal branch.
Its been more than a month and i have not received the refund for the whole amount of INR 5,600 as the transaction should have been canceled due to incorrect details.
Sole purpose of entering both account number and IFSC code is to verify and make sure that amount gets transferred to correct account, which literally failed in this case.
I request you to look into this matter and help me with a resolution as soon as possible failing to which I’ll have to take some action and file a case of system malfunctioning.
i have filed multiple complaints/request with the Paytm for the reversal of the transaction but there no response of the same from paytm. everytime the complaint is rejected on illogical grounds and no intimation is given to me for the rejection of my complaint.
I have submitted all the required documents to the paytm as well but nothing is done from their end yet. its been more than a month now.
