Text of Complaint by Gerda Esterhuizen:

Asked to do online marketing on Amazon Mall platform. They said recharge with R100 to start grabbing tasks. After completion of your tasks you get your money plus commission back. Can only withdraw it after completion of all tasks (4). So if you grab a product and you don’t have enough in your mall account, you must recharge with amount needed. So you recharge R200 and then the same happens again but now must recharge R300 and then grab the last task, they need a further R1700 to complete the tasks. If you cannot pay that amount, which I didn’t have, you cannot witdraw any money because tasks not completed. I have paid in R490 which I now cannot get back because I cannot pay R1700 to complete the task. I am a widow who only receive a SASSA grant. Now I have nil in my bank and no money for the rest of the month.
