Text of Complaint by Prachi Pradhan:

I ordered some books on Amazon India in December. During net banking the transaction got canceled and I got a mail from them that payment declined by bank. Money was deducted from my account and usually it gets refunded in 4-5 days. So I waited for 10 days. Finally when I called ICICI Bank customer care they said the money was processed and I should contact Amazon.
After a couple of to and fro calls between these giant companies, I finally got to know that some PayU India transaction service is in picture. Now neither Amazon nor ICICI is giving any proper feedback and my money is lost somewhere in the transaction.
Complaint resolutions:
ICICI : The grievance was raised upto Internal Ombudsman of the Bank (appointed on the directive of Reserve Bank of India to look into the complaints) and they say that the money has been transferred to Amazon.
Amazon: Customer care doesn’t even raise any written request. Just replies bluntly/rudely on phone.
PayU : No customer care number. The ticket raised on their site is closed giving solution as “contact Amazon (merchant)”
Tried tagging them on social media and raised jago grahak jago complaints but to no use.
