Text of Complaint by Jinendra Gandhi:

I ordered a product of worth 35k from Amazon on 19 Aug 22. Order id – 405-8534357-9965906. I received a wrong product of appx 5k on 23 Aug 22. I immediately contacted customer care. They told to click some photographs of product alongwith details like account holder name, date etc on white paper. The same was uploaded on link provided by them. They checked everything and arranged for pickup. Pickup was done on 24 Aug 22. I was told that the refund will be initiated once the product reaches seller because every product has its own policy. I called up again on 28th. They told same thing and also that product is in transit. I called up again on 31Aug22 and came to know that product was received at 1100h on 30 Aug 22. The same is not even updated on app. They told that since payment mode was through EMI, it will take 3 days more or else if seller don’t do it, they have power to initiate it. I again called up on 02 Sep 22. Now they told that some new investigation is starting since the product returned is not same as it was ordered. I tried to make them understand that the reason for return is delivery of wrong product only, then how the product will match. I also tried to make them understand that the pick up boy has taken different product only since the customer support forwarded photographs of wrong product otherwise he checks the product photo then only he collects it. They confirmed that the refund will definitely start on 04 sep 22. I told them that if not recd, i need to complaint to consumer forum. They told and sent
the email that the refund will be initiated by 04 sep 22. The refund is still not initiated. The app is still showing product is in transit. Neither they are initiating refund nor are they goin to compensate for my loss. I had paid appx 35k, not holding any product and not getting refund as well. Since i cannot write everything here, its only the crux
The phonecall was made many times. Sometimes the customer executive was not able to understand the query sometimes they hungup the call
i have all the records. Requested to resolve the issue.
