Text of Complaint by Sourav Banerjee:

On 17/07/2021, a payment of Rs. 2003.45/- (vide Transaction No.
13566683417) was made to Amazon Merchant against shopping 5 different
products using Amazon merchant mobile application. The transaction by the
State Bank of India (SBI) was confirmed to be successful and the said amount
got debited from my savings account. Subsequently, Amazon merchant
declined the payment and showed the transaction to have failed. Upon
enquiry, with Amazon merchant, I was informed that the deducted amount
shall be credited back to my account by SBI within 6-7 working days. I had
waited and on 28/07/2021 I had filed a Complaint with SBI vide Case No.
60709973 in this regard. SBI on 29/07/2021 replied by email that as per their
records the said Transaction No. 13566683417 dated 17/07/2021 has been
successful with the amazon merchant and hence to contact the merchant for any
further claim and the matter is resolved and closed from their side. I contacted
Amazon merchant to know that they have cancelled the order since they have
not received any payment and hence they are not liable to refund and I
should only return to SBI for any refund. Now SBI having closed the matter and Amazon also refusing to acknowledge my payment from their side I feel cheated and at loss. Hence with folded hands, I plead your intervention for a refund of my legitimate lost money of Rs. 2033.45/-. Thank You.
