Hi,

I ordered one product from Amazon (order : 406-9418061-0759569) on 16 March 2020. I was not satisfied with the product so I placed a return request and my return pick-up was scheduled for 24 March 2020 between 07:00 to 13:00 but nobody came to pick up at that time and we understood that they were not able to come due to lockdown.

But what after lockdown, On 22 May I got a message on my phone number  that your pick-up could not be completed as your package was not ready. What does it mean that our package was not ready?  the person did not even came to us and we got this message.

I tried calling them multiple times but was not able to connect to their customer support. Today on 11 July 2020, I somehow tried contacting them with another number and they are saying that the order that I have placed cannot be returned now and it has been cancelled on 30/31st May 2020.

How can they cancel my order without contacting us. With whose acknowledgement they cancelled it.  They are blaming us that why we have not contacted them. The amazon app in ‘view return/refund status is still showing me the status as ” you have already requested a return of this item. Return Request approved” . A dream will come to me that my return request has been cancelled. They are expecting customer to contact them . Is this what Amazon customer support is.

the person is saying us on phone that we should have send him a mail. Why amazon team has not send us the mail that order has been cancelled or we will cancel your order on so and so on date if we would not hear anything from you.  They have send us a message that due to covid 19 , pick up scheduled has been delayed then why not this message that they will cancel, they will not return the money. This is a clear cheating by the Amazon.

I request you to look into this matter. I want my money back. Ask them to pick their item back and return my money.

This is not expected from such a big name organisation. They have taken the advantage of covid -19 situation.
