AMAZON delivered wrong product (delivered a Woolen cap instead of MIcrosoft Surface Pro Keyboard worth Rs 12,575/-)

Text of Complaint by Geetha Godwin:

We have placed order with AMAZON  for Microsoft Surface Pro Type Cover Keyboard for Rs 12,575/-  on 25-12-2020  and payment was made. The order No, is 404-9624494-1489153. We were delivered a wrong item ie, a black Woolen Cap (photo attached along with delivery slip photo)on 01.01.2021. . We immediately lodged a complaint with Amazon . Their delivery assistant(boy) refused to take back the item. We again lodged a complaint with Amazon. They assured to look into the matter and give a reply by 07-01-2020. But no reply was given. We tried to contact them over phone. Since we can’t call them directly (we have to request for call and then they will call back later) we placed request for call. Nobody called back. On chating they informed that the order stands cancelled and we will be getting the refund(photo available). Since no refund was received, we contacted them again via chat. Now they are claiming that no refund will be made as they have made correct delivery. Now in their website(my account) it is showing that the item is delivered which is a blatant lie.

In India Amazon redressal mechanism is not customer friendly.

This has caused lot of anxiety and I have been cheated by Amazon. We have suffered a loss of Rs 12,575/-.  Kindly get the amount of Rs 12,575/-refunded.
