I bought a chair from Amazon app (office chair) worth INR 9999/- and they only sent the seat/top part of the chair and did not deliver the wheels/bottom part. As it did not have wheels the bottom right portion of the seat was damaged when they delivered it to me. It was not packed properly. It is wrapped in a single sheet of paper and one duct tape around it.
When I asked for a replacement chair or a refund, they said that I will have to courier the chair myself and they cannot pick it up.
The courier company says that they will not ship it if the chair is not properly packed as they only offer packaging services for International courier and this chair needs to be sent to Raipur.
I called the customer service again and they told me to goto the market and buy bubble wrap and packaging material, Pack it my self and then courier it which I believe is not right. They delivered the chair to my address so they should pick it up. They won’t help me at all and they just keep saying that I need to return the chair myself If I need my 10,000 rs back. I am out of 10,000 rs and a broken chair and Amazon won’t help me at all. Please help!
