I had placed an order on Ajio.com on 22nd February 2021, the package was delivered on 28 February 2021, a few minutes after receiving and making payment of Rs. Rs. 1,560 to the delivery executive of Ajio.com a return request was placed (on 28th February 2021).
A delivery executive from Shadowfax Kolkata associated with Ajio.com called me up came to my residence to collect the package from Ajio today (1 March 2021), while he checked the product and said the same was ok, along with the intact tags, he said due to a mistake by Ajio the number mentioned on the tag of the T-shirt & the one mentioned on his phone weren’t the same, which is why he couldn’t collect the package and process it for initiating a refund to my bank account (details of which have been entered in Ajio.com Website). The delivery executive clearly mentioned that even though the package/ product/ T-shirt being returned was in satisfactory condition due to a mistake by Ajio systems, he can’t collect the package / product back…Kindly note this entire conversation & inspection by Ajio customer executive / that associated with Ajio has been recorded. Upon the delivery executive’s departure I received an SMS from Ajio stating that the return of the Polo T-Shirt has failed ‘quality check’ which is why the same couldn’t be returned. This statement / sms by Ajio and it’s reluctance to accept the product ordered by me from AJio and subsequently refund my payment of Rs. 1560 is grossly wrong and unethical. Attached are various images of the product / T-shirt in question where it can be clearly seen that the product is in same condition as it was delivered to me. This entire process was repeated on 11th March 2020, when another return attempt failed for the same reasons mentioned above.
Therefore in conclusion, Ajio.com (Reliance Retail) needs to refund the amount in question to my bank account. I have already sent email to customercare@ajio.com without receiving any resolution. The order ID for Ajio.com order is Order ID – FL0234582303
