Text of Complaint by Air Vice Marshal Satinder Singh Dhillon:

Desired to upgrade my broadband connection at home, I approached Airtel (Pb Circle) through their link, “www.airtel.in”. Airtel Sales Executive, Mr Punit from Chandigarh visited me and completed my application no. 01721424781 dated 20 May 2020, for installing “Airtel Xstream Optic Fibre Connection” and asked me to deposit Rs. 2826/- for the quarter, with no installation fee. He promised me that the connection will be made functional within 72 hrs after the payment is made.

I made payment of Rs 2826/- to Airtel for the product vide the product Txn ID no. 520312693 dt 21 May 2020. Confirmation of the application and the payment was received by me. Thereafter, there was no action, inspite of repeated approaching, firstly Mr Punit and then Territory Manager, Mr Satish.

When approached Nodal Officer Pb Circle, I got the pre-recorded message that I should approach customercare. When contacted customercare ay 121 for about 20 times at different time of the day, the pre-recorded Voice never connected me to the Call centre Executive and no complaint no. was received.

I am at the dead end and strongly feel that I have been de-frauded by the company. Request you to intervene and resolvr this issue to avoid further harassment to this senior Defense Officer.
