Hi, my name is Siddharth Mehra and I recently got my new Airtel Xstream Fiber connection. The installation date was 3rd June 2021. The technician arrived at my location and he didn’t have any screwdriver, plass, or drill and it was required obviously when you have to get a cable inside your home.
So I let him borrow my screwdrivers and eventually he made it stuck on my wall and couldn’t pull it out so he decided to use another from the opposite side to push the first one but it went terribly wrong he got that second screwdriver stuck too. He told me that he will come back tomorrow with the proper tools to pull out both of my screwdrivers and there is nothing to worry about.
After a few days, he came back with a few people and they tried with their hand’s strength to pull my screwdrivers back but failed and then again told me that he will definitely come back tomorrow with proper tools but he didn’t and now he doesn’t even pick up my phone calls.
So I tried to contact customer support but they refused to help me or file my complaint and told me that they can’t do anything and I have to find a solution myself.
I paid Airtel for their installation in advance, didn’t I? Isn’t this Airtel’s responsibility to get a proper installation and if they made a mistake don’t they have to fix it rather than leaving it to the customer to solve?
Honestly, I am pretty sure that explaining this issue in the email will not get me any help either but still, I am putting in some effort, and when there are not any of my mistakes (besides choosing airtel) I won’t let it forget. I will share this everywhere, YouTube, Blog, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and will show people what kind of service airtel is providing even when you pay them their choice of amount and still you get this type of response.
I have attached the images of the stuck screwdrivers on my window sidewall, kindly look at that.
