Text of Complaint by Chintamani Bhat:

I have a Airtel prepaid number registered against my Mother’s name. On 22nd November 2018, suddenly she received a SMS stating that the outgoing calls validity will expire on 25th November 2018.

This, with 171 Rs. Balance still in account. We purchased this SIM 7-8 years ago and then Airtel promised lifetime validity.

Now we have to forcefully recharge every time just in order to keep the account from being discontinued.

Is Airtel now going to decide when and how much should I recharge with? This is utter fraud from Airtel and this matter needs to be dealt with seriousness.
