Text of Complaint by Ramesh K:

I have raised a service request to transfer my Airtel broadband connection to a new place I am moving in the same city on 24th March 2019. I told them that the service needs to be moved on 31st March. I called on 31st and I was told an executive will come on 1st April at 1:00 pm. I had taken 1st off to get utilities like this fixed at the new place. Nobody called till 11:00 am on 1st, so I called them and told them the current situation. I was told that at any cost the problem will be resolved by 7:25 pm on 1st. Some one called around 2:00 pm and I told them they can come now and that I have been waiting since 1:00 pm. The guy told me he will come shortly. I called again at 4:00 pm and  I was told they will call back in 2 mins. Nobody called. I called 30 min later and I was told they are on the way. Till 7:00 pm, nobody showed up. I called them at 7:00 pm. The customer service could tell what the status is. I spoke to his manager and he said it will be resolved by tomorrow 12:00 pm. He asked when they can come and I told them they can come at 9:30 am. He sai its too early. At this I am really and told him to resolve as soon as he can and I will move to a different provider if I find  a better one. Today morning I see that the service request is closed.

The customer service team doesn’t seem to care about customers. They do not seem to have an idea about the status of service requests. Also, they seem to lie right in your face. I hope Airtel management really looks into the customer service practices and improves them. — Ramesh
