Text of Complaint by Raj:

I raised a complaint on 6th Oct, 2020 with Airtel regarding failed recharge refund for a recharge on 4th Oct 2020.

Today on 7th Oct, 2020 I got an anonymous call from 6294397266 stating he is from Airtel and asked me to download an app from Android play store and upload something over there.

Soon realizing it is a fraud call I reported it to Airtel.

While reporting to Airtel I asked them to take a complaint to find the root cause of information leak that is my mobile number and previous complaint details.

Airtel told they would put the reported number on fraud list but they were reluctant to answer me or register a proper complaint to find how my details leaked.

On forcing them to take complaint they took but provided incorrect info regarding the complaint numbers.

Neither my complaints are appearing on Airtel Thanks apps nor the complaints numbers they are providing each time on call are varying.

I doubt the credibility, there is lack of transparency  and my deepest concern is how Airtel is dealing with the consumer data.

To whom it is being sold and at what all places it is ending up like in my case.

This is a serious violation of trust between consumer and service provider.

I felt this is the time to take it seriously and repot this kind of issues and demand for transparency in Airtel’s business processes.
