I joined Airtel Postpaid by paying a security deposit of Rs 300. After using airtel for almost 2 years I ported out of airtel to join Idea because of network issues. Airtel gave a clearance for porting out saying all bills are cleared. After using Idea for around 45 days, I got messages saying I have a due of 387 with previous operator, I called Idea Customer Care (no use at all) who said I need to contact Airtel and submit the receipt to Idea or else services would be discontinued.
I feel so humiliated because of airtel. I always cleared my bills and now my outgoing is blocked by Idea saying I have to clear previous operator dues which I already did. Airtel should have adjusted my 300 bucks security deposit in clearing the due and then contacted me to get 87 cleared. It is now very painful for me to run here and there with my busy schedule. I feel like getting torchured and harassed due to this runaround.
