Hi Teams,
 
Subject : Family plan 749 + Taxes was advised by airtel executive in DLF Hyderabad with a fee of 250/- processing fee, Until now i am not included in Family plan. Kindly advise on whose error this has occurred. I am being asked to pay the outstanding due 499+tax for May & June to be added to the 749 plan.
 
In Feb 2020 airtel executed in my office premises approached and advised me about a 749 family plan as 499+taxes was my existing plan. Having understood the benefits of family plan I accepted the plan with a processing fee. I have opted my wife’s number (9620197074) to be primary and my number as secondary in the plan. We were asked to clear the due on both the numbers, don’t remember the date we made payments on the same date. Executive also offered a data SIM as the 3rd number can be used only for DATA. Executive confirmed our plans are now moved to 749+taxes family plan for 3 numbers with a single bill for all.
 
In Covid pandemic we have never checked our bill plan in an airtel app, So i do get mail/message notifications about the xyz due amount which i continued to pay for the initial 2 months and my wife has been paying 749+taxes separately.
 
Late in May 2020 I was amazed my number is still under 499+taxes plan which was never changed & no request was processed in Feb2020. When checked my wife’s bill plan details, her number is under 749+taxes family plan with a secondary number as “DATA sim” added SIM given by executive. So when I called in and spoke to call center executives I was informed the DATA sim was incorrectly added in the 749 family plan instead of my number (7680858833).
I have the call recordings for the same if required i can attach the same, PFB reference numbers for calls i made:

Now when i ask for the Bill plan to be changed i am being asked to pay the current outstanding on my number, There should not be any outstanding due if i was added in the Family plan as i was explained by the executive. It was not an error from my end which caused all this hassle. Kindly look into this issue and add me to the 749 plan where 9620197074 is the primary. Waive the outstanding on my number and reimburse the 2 payments i made in March & April.
