I had Airtel broadband connection at home which was giving me issues for long time. After multiple complaints but no resolution, I got the connection disconnected on 27-11-2021. I received a cancellation confirmation on call and mail. Reference number for the complaint is 140192694.
I am still getting emails to pay bill till the present month even though I had switched to another network the same day and have never used Airtel services after that. The Airtel executives call around 5-6 times a day sometimes blatantly denying that the connection has been disconnected and asking to pay some unreasonable amount as bill, sometimes agreeing that the connection is disconnected and asking the reason for the same. I also sent a complaint regarding this to the Airtel customer care email IDs available online but was of no help. They have taken the cancellation request 3 more times after that but still none of those have been acted upon.
