Text of Complaint by Rueben Dinakar:

I have an Airtel landline and my plan was Rs. 399 rental (Rs. 473 including tax) until the end of February 2019. On 30th March 2019, I got a call from customer care telling me that they are offering few selected customers a new offer. This was landline plus broadband service for Rs. 400 including tax and all local and STD calls are free. When I asked them for an email or sms confirmation, I was informed that this is not possible as customer care executives dont have email facility. I asked the lady many times if there will be any extra charges and I was promised that Rs. 400 will be final and nothing more will be required beyond this.

However, the bill I have received on April 12th 2019, is for Rs. 643.46. When I called customer care, I was informed that my plan has been changed to Rs. 499 rental and all calls are chargeable.

I am very disappointed with this service and I want the plan that was promised to me. The call from customer care on 30th March should have been recorded and that will be proof for this incident.
