Text of Complaint by Virendra Kumar:

I managed Somehow 1800 with my pocket money and taken some of the cash from my brother to get a new airtel broadband connection. Then I contacted Airtel Internet Service Provider and he said he will be there in a minute. when he arrive at my address he said you have to pay for this connection before installation, first you will pay to airtel then they will send there technician to install the broadband, so i checked the act broadband policy there also was the same process but the install the broadband within half an hour when the payment is done, So i was okay that maybe airtel take a little time. Then i said ok and give him cash then he said you have to pay online so i said currently i don’t have any online payment mode so i can pay you so he said okay no problem i am filling all the details on airtel app and you’ll recieve a sms with link. i received a sms with the link so he said you give me cash i will credit them in my sbi account make your payment i said okay.

We went to the bank and i give him the cash 1800 and he deposit all the amount his bank and came out and make my payment successful then he said take a screen shot of that payment has been done successfully i snaped that with my camera. then he said you’ll receive a call from airtel for installation today anytime.

Then i came home and was waiting for call after few hours i received a sms with failed payment, then on the spot i called that airtel agent he said wait i am working on that give me some time i said ok after few hours the problem was solved, i got the sms that your payment has done successfully of 1768.

i called him at 5 or 6 pm again that no one came here to install it he said it take a 24 hrs time you wait it will be installed tomorrow morning, i said ok lets wait.

next day 12pm no one came or called i again contacted him he said sorry sir for the delay he is working on my case only wait till evening airtel technician will reach you, i said this time he will reach na he said yes otherwise you can call me.

Evening after 5 pm i called him he didn’t pick up my call, after waiting few minutes i again make him a call the no. was going busy again contacted after few minutes no one picked the call and then i message him on whatsapp that bhaiyya app phone kyu ni utha rahe h after the message was delivered he blocked me, i just got shocked.

i have called the airtel customer care more than 7 times sometime they said that the connection will be installed and sometime they said sorry the connection is av in that area, and when i asked for refund they said the payment will be refund on the account of that person which has done the payment, i asked he is not picking up my calls and not answering my messages  how will then i get my money back. they says don’t worrry sir your money will be refund back to you that’s our issue how it will reach you but my friend told me that if the money is refunded both will take off there hands and you’ll get nothing better leave the money and ask them to block the refund and file a consumer complaint and police complaint both on airtel and that person.
