I have been using Airtel broadband for some time now. But since last several months (4 to 5 months), the broadband has become very very unstable. It goes off several times a day – sometimes for more than 30 mins to 1 hour. Even when it is on, a lot of times the speed is below 1 MB!! I have taken a 40Mbmps unlimited plan (Rs 799 per month) for 1 year. Now I am stuck with it for this whole year! I stay in Bangalore JP Nagar 7th Phase and what I heard from others is that the line here is very bad.
I have raised complaints to Airtel customer service several times. Each time the issue is fixed only temporarily. It seems there is no way for them to take this as recurring issue and fix it permanently. This is quite frustrating. I would at least want to get back my money so that I can shift to some other provider. I am surely not going to continue after the current plan expires!
