Hi There
Airtel does not work as a customer-centric company and is really harassing me. Is this the way Airtel works? The only motive is harassment and money-making.

29th Nov 21: First call in order to cancel the Airtel broadband to customer care. Represented suggested to pay the outstanding amount and post that he can cancel the connection. He did not inform me of the unbilled amount.
3rd Dec 21: The second call is done and represented told me to pay the outstanding amount. This was not told to me earlier. The representatives are not at all educated about the policies and then she again said that “This is a system mistake and now it is last payment and posts this the connection will be canceled”.
6th Dec 21: Again the representative said that since you are Airtel black customer, you have to pay Rs. 271 to unbind the broadband with Airtel Black. She told me that she is making the request for unbinding and no money to be paid further. Also, we will get a call in 48 hours for confirmation. I did not get any call. I am waiting to unbind and carry on paying money. You are only here to ask for money and not customer-centricity.
10th Dec 21: I talked to Robin, the supervisor. Then again I was asked to pay another Rs. 110 because that is still pending. He said this is the final amount and sorry for the confusion. He agreed that it is an Airtel Thanks app issue. He said it might take more than till then we cannot unbind. If it takes 48 hours, then again we need to pay additional. He suggests going to the Airtel store and paying. I went to the Airtel store in Greater Noida and paid the amount of 110. Ideally, I should not be paid as I have already given the request on 29th Nov, still, I paid the amount. The store representative called us around 9 pm and said “Now you can raise the request for surrender”. What a mess Airtel is. Every time, we have to call for 30 minutes and then Airtel representative picks up the phone. Then the request was raised to surrender Airtel Broadband and unbind Airtel black.
21st Dec: Somebody called up and told me that the instrument will be picked up from the house. The associate came and picked up the instrument, the invoice is attached.
27th Dec: Again we got the call from Airtel, that the amount is pending and we did not surrender the instruments. What a stupidity from Airtel.

Every time, every representative gives false commitments and information. Only Robin, the supervisor, told us about the procedure.
What a pathetic service and stupidity from Airtel.

Now, another big harassment. On the top of every nuisance, who gave Airtel the permission to change my other number xxxxxxxxxxto Airtel black. This number is showing as Airtel black and outstanding amount. What is this and why the amount is showing as pending on another number.
