I booked this place using airbnb in the month of December for my March trip. The owner asks me to change the room to some Unique View room; to which I asked is the view only different from my current booking. His answer was affirmative. Post that in the month of march, I saw this place did not have ac, which again host affirmed. I asked if up gradation was possible to which this guy did not respond. Had he responded, I would have cancelled my booking and got atleast half refund.
Now when I go to this place, his staff confirmed that they dont have ac room for any upgrade. We still thought of checking this place out as had given really hefty amount. It was too hot, we requested if there is something which can be arranged (as we had a kid along). To which these guys gave us pedestal fan and cooler. But when we filled water in cooler, it flooded the whole room. Owner himself came and wiped the room clean. Next day morning at around 5 am, a frog jumps on me while I was using washroom. So, we headed out to some beach. Again when we came back, we decided to checkout.
But the owner is so shameless, that he is not ready to refund even a day’s money. Airbnb also can’t help us as we don’t have any evidence. We were obviously in shock to document all of the happenings.
If you are ready to pay hefty amount for non-ac room with mosquitoes and frogs.
