After being fed up with poor management of vodafone, I changed service provider. Now Vodafone has wrongly stopped my outgoing calls without clearing my doubts. I am again suffering by this act of vodafone.

Today, Monday, 19 July 2021.

As a customer, I have had a good relation with vodafone since long, before it actually acquired Hutch and then we became customers of Vodafone. But since past one year or so, we have experienced drastic decline in its telecom services ranging from poor network to poor communication and poor interest of staff at centers (in retaining the customers, as we felt after visiting the centers many times in past one year). Well, with such services, eventually it became imperative to switch to a low-cost network plan. After 2 – 3 visits, we were convinced with the low cost plan as suggested and assured by the staff at Vi store.  It continued for 2 months and then suddenly we were charged higher amount, which was result of new plan with higher cost. After deliberate inquiries, we had to agree (with ourselves) that the change of plan was well intentional move by vodafone without our knowledge and consent. We continued paying higher amount as new plan for 2 months, with desire to point out unintentional mistake from vodafone and with desire to revert back to original plan, which we were assured of at Vi store. But all our patience were exhausted when one day, a customer service executive clearly denied reverting back to earlier plan. Instead, he informed us that our earlier plan was a discount to us for just two months and it was only for a period of two months. This was completely against (and in deceit of) what we were under impression of assurance from staff at Vi store. This broke our heart completely and we decided to switch the service provider, of course, formally, after clearing bill, with no intention of cheating vodafone by not paying any dues etc. In fact, we did not switch the service provider based on poor network or cost issues of plans with vodafone, rather it was trust issue. Else, no long relationship breaks on petty grounds.

A month after change of service provider, vodafone called us for some pending bills, to which, again, we were not averse to ! BUT NONE OF THE CALLERS COULD ANSWER US WHY OUT 199 PLAN WAS CHANGED TO 299 PLAN, THAT TOO WITHOUT CONSENT OR LETTING US KNOW. WE HAD JUST ASKED FOR SAME QUESTION EACH TIME. AFTER SOME DAYS, MY OUTGOING CALLS WERE BLOCKED.
