Text of Complaint by Sreekar Reddy:

My Ac. No. – 1179026693 .
On 29th Jan’22 i received a call from Hathway Broadband sales team saying that there’s offer, if I pay 4 months I will get 1 month free service @ speed of 100mbps for 2472 rupees, as my existing plan was 1766 for 3 months @ 50mbps speed which is about to expire on 2nd Feb’22. So when compared with the existing plan the offer looked much better, I paid the amount on 29th Jan’22 . Even after paying the amount i started getting calls from Hathway sales team to recharge my account . So I dropped the mail on 31st Jan’22 saying that my payment is not updated in the website, there’s no response . Even after paying the amount my internet has been deactivated on 02 Feb’22. I registered a complaint with them on 3rd Feb’22 @ 9:AM i guess. I tried calling customer care multiple times (8 times),every time they say that the issue has been escalated to the backend team on high priority & will get it resolved by 24hrs. On 3rd Feb’22 night around 8:00PM i got a call from backend team saying that the plan which i opted is not in existence & the sales guy might have made mistake & person told me that she can get 3 months package @ 100mbps speed for 1766 rupees & balance amount will be refunded into my account in 10-15 days. I asked her for a mail confirmation for the same, which i didn’t received so far. On 4th Feb’22 I called the customer care again as my account is not reinstated & surprisingly this time she says that there is no 100mbps speed available in my area & the package which i opted is for 3 months @ 50mbps speed for 2472 rupees. I told her that i got the same package for 1766 rupees previously & as usually she connected my call to the escalation team which they won’t pick up. I lost 1 day pay because of them & thought of recharging my account with 1766 & place a refund request for 2472 rupees. I called the customer care for refund, she said that she will initiate the refund process but i won’t get a confirmation mail or msg for refund since my ticket is still open.
