Text of Complaint by Sandeep Dang:

PayTM started asking for fresh KYC when there were orders from govt to do Aadhar based KYC. Those orders were cancelled but PayTM kept insisting on KYC, except that they started saying that even Passport etc were valid documents for KYC.

I applied for Passport based KYC twice but everytime their rep would come home and start asking for Aadhar. I complained again but no response from Paytm. Finally, i asked them to close my account but they aren’t.

They don’t give me access to speak to them on phone as the IVR asks to set passcode first. But the passcode can not be set by me as there is no such option available on the App.

Many complaints on App and Twitter but simply no repsonse. Last two complaint reference numbers 69847916, dtd 07 Jun and 09 Jun 18 AND 69003722 dtd 03 June and 04 June 18.
