Sir,
This is to bring to kind notice that my family is a regular customer of Amazon and have ordered for more than 50 times in the last three months itself. recently, for one of the orders, we received a damaged piece and asked for exchange. The item sent in the subsequent exchange was not what we had ordered for. We again filed for refund. this time the item was collected from our premises but the refund did not materialize. When we approached the customer care over phone, we were told that the refund will be initiated shortly.
When much time elapsed, my daughter again called the customer care to inquire about the status of refund. In response, she received a very nasty letter from the Accounts Specialist threating to close down my account with Amazon. I wish I could forward that mail to you for your perusal. I never thought that I would be getting such an unprofessional reply from your organization. Let me make it quite clear at this moment that I am not a person to try to gain unnecessarily for a meagre sum of INR 2000/- when I have expended more than INR 3 lakhs on Amazon purchases.
On a couple of occasions earlier also, we had been delivered items different from the ordered ones and quite few of them are substandard. At times we have even received unpacked or semi packed items as if they have been used for sometime before.
I request you to take cognizance of the matter and work out a solution and take disciplinary action against the Accounts Specialist. Such people bring a bad name to an organization. I do not have any item with me that even resembles the returned item. Your specialist is asking me to return the correct item, which implies that they already have the item back.
If there was a discrepancy in the returned item, why did they not bring it to my notice earlier. Now, just to avoid a refund, they come up with such nasty letter.
The The email from the Accounts Specialist has order reference is Fourwalls Artificial Yucca Plant with Pot and Belly Basket (95 cm, Purple Plant, Black Basket) , in your return of order #408-4162927-7534711. as the subject line. In fact the order was not for a back basket, the supply was wrong hence I returned it. You can verify from your system the real colour of the items included in this order.
I hope the matter will be settled soon and I not put to any further inconvenience by any of your staff.
