Text of Complaint by Chandan D Nadig:

The Zoomcar vehicle I had booked was not available and was assigned an alternate one. I was met with a minor accident due to brake failure in that vehicle. Since I had hired the vehicle to take my father to the hospital, I paid the damage charges to the other party instead of lodging a FIR. I called the Zoomcar helpline, explained what had happened. They said that they can neither arrange alternate vehicle nor would refund can fare or balance amount that was left in the subscription. So, I got the vehicle repaired and was told that I would be refunded the repair charges. There were no damages to the Zoomcar vehicle and the same was informed to me by the associate who had inspected it. Now Zoomcar has charged me ₹ 10,000 damage fee and is not refunding the repair charges too.
