I Have ordered 2 “Red Rose Low Rise Half Coverage Bikni Panty-Dark Grey”, (seller name Sagar Products) which is showing Rs. 120/- on the product page of Zivame but when I actually received the product it has the tag of MRP Rs. 70/-. So the question is how can Zivame charge more than the MRP. It is showing the price of the product as Rs. 120/- on the product page itself.
On the TOP of this, when I raised the request to refund the extra amount charged i.e. Rs. 100/- (50*2) then they did not refunded my amount and provided some vague clarification over call that the price written on the Invoice is the final price. So if they will write anything on the invoice that will the final price even if it is over and above MRP.
CHARGING ANYTHING OVER AND ABOVE MRP IS AGAINST THE LAW OF THE LAND.
According to the Legal Metrology Act, 2009, the MRP which is printed on the product is the maximum price that the customer has to pay for a product.
