I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an unauthorized transaction of ₹899 debited from my bank account. The transaction appears to be associated with zee5@paytm, but I have neither initiated this payment nor subscribed to any services.
Issue Details:
1. Transaction Details: ₹899 deducted from my SBI account on 22/03/2025.
2. No Transaction Record in Paytm: I checked my Paytm transaction history, but there is no record of this payment.
3. No Support from ZEE5: I reached out to ZEE5 support for clarification, but I have not received any resolution.
4. Bank’s Response: When I contacted my bank, they stated that the transaction was processed with prior notification. However, I did not receive any OTP or authorization request before the deduction.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue with ZEE5, Paytm, and my bank, I have not received any concrete support or refund. This is a clear case of unauthorized deduction, and I am now left with no choice but to escalate the matter to the Consumer Forum.
My Requests:
1. A full refund of ₹899 at the earliest.
2. A thorough investigation into how the amount was debited without my consent.
3. Action against the concerned parties for failing to provide proper support.
I request your intervention in resolving this matter at the earliest. I am attaching all relevant documents, including my bank statement showing the deduction, emails/chats with ZEE5 and Paytm, and any other supporting evidence.
Kindly treat this as an urgent issue and take appropriate action.
