I had bought the XIaomi 5X TV 55 inch in June. Within 10 days I called the customer care as the TV would hang time to time. Remote stopped working in between and suddenly volume would go to 100 on its own.
They didn’t asked me to reset TV and call again if issue persists.
Next day I again called them. They registered a complaint. And the service guy came and checked the defect.
He also found the same issue and reported to the team. They came and replaced the main Board of the TV.
After 2 days the problem was still there, and I called customer care. But this time no one came.
Tried multiple time over the period but no one called/came.
Then after 3 months of waiting I again registered a complaint.
The same guy came and saw the issue. He reported to the company and they again asked for main chip replacement. We refused because under warranty this was second-time exact useless resolution was given. Why will we do the same again? They are simply wasting on our warranty period.
We asked for TV replacement which company rejected because TV is 4 months old. But that is company’s fault. They did not take the first complaints seriously. They were registered within 10 days. We are just fighting but no help. They are a shitty organisation and have robbed our money by providing defective piece.
