I have been using Vivo X60 for the last 3.5 years and March 2024 I did a software update as recommended by the phone, After updating suddenly a green line appeared on my phone from top to bottom. Today 17th March 2024, I visited the local vivo service Centre ( jayanagar Bangalore) – they also confirmed that the issue is with a software update & advised me to pay RS: 9300/- to replace the display. I told them that the problem is because of the software update provided by the company, so I am not ready to pay the amount. Then they checked & informs me that the company is replacing the display only on the phones with no physical damage. See my phone is 3.5 years old so there is a physical damage which has happened and year ago. Highlighting this damage they are not willing to replace the display. This makes no sense to me. The phone display got affected by their software issue & now they are asking RS: 9300 from my side to resolve this issue. What crap it is ?? Even if there is any physical damage they are responsible to replace the display because the issue started from their software update. I bought this phone for RS: 35000 & after 3.5 years they are asking for RS: 9300/ again for the issue from their side??? This is not all acceptable. Today 2nd Green line has come in my phone. Called customer care no proper response to resolve they say senior team will call and resolve no one calls they give one sec missed call and say I have not picked the call
