On September 27 I had ordered Men’s short on Amazon India. But the size of the short is unfit so I have placed the return order. Initially the pickup was scheduled on 30th of Sep but no one has picked -up the product. So I called the customer service and they said it will be picked by 6th Oct. But again it did not picked up so I called then again on 9th oct. Customer service said it will be picked by 14th Oct. Again it did not picked up.
So far neither product has picked not I have received refund.
This has raised many concerns
1) As Amazon servers millions of customer there are high changes that such issue are with other consumers also. This leads the millions of rupees are lying with amazon. This indicates to have through investigation of Amazon systems & processes and why the items are not getting picked even after raising return request and 3 times call to customer service ?
2) While talking to Amazon agent it found out that if customer support team unable to resolve the issue there is no way consumer can talk to any senior agent.
3) Most of the time Amazon delivers order in a day or next day but when it cones to return they has around 2 weeks after date. This policy is against the consumer and need review.
4) Even when you talk to customer support team they sometime directly put you on wait and this leads for 4-5mins of wait time.
5) Now after twice calling I see “session expired” error and unable to even get customer service representative
All these issues leads very fragile it applications and processes. i request to collect such issues and perform proper investigation.
