Airtel Complain reference number – 3732622182172

This is a major issue regarding international roaming charges on my phone number. I am not getting any help from AIRTEL CUSTOMER SERVICE, hence I am reaching out to you.

I am again noting the whole issue here for the record.
I called Airtel Agent on 29 august 2021. I asked him to extend my international monthly plan but he said he cannot do it before the expiry. That is a major issue in your system that I cannot extend it before expiry even when I know that it is going to expire and I want it for another month.
Now that same agent told me on 29 August that my international roaming plan is expiring next day at USA time 12am. So I waited until 12am USA time. But by that time I was charged 649. I again activated 30 days plan of 3999 in few hours but the date changed in India but it was the same day in USA.

Later another agent after few days told me plan expiry is based on india time.
I am surprised to see that first agent did not extend my plan and also gave me WRONG INFORMATION?
Because of his misinformation, I am suffering and my bill is higher by 649 plus taxes.
I will not pay it because now it’s a matter of his mistake and my suffering without reason.

I have a clear plan of 3999 for 30 days and I never wanted a one day plan. 30 days plan is what I wanted and I have it from past 3 MONTHS.
Why do I need a one day plan and am being charged for a day because of his huge mistake?

Please check recording of my calls with him from 29th August USA time or it should be a call on 30th august india time.

All I am asking is not to charge me these extra 649 plus taxes when I am already paying 3999 plus taxes for my monthly USA international roaming plan.

I have been trying to reach everyone at the roaming number 9910099100 but no one is helping and they are just putting my request in pipeline and promising me to give a call back but no one is calling back. They are asking me about the agent’s name and exact time of the call when they already should have the RECORDING of the whole call from 29th August.

This is my 3rd Month of using your roaming plans. I am a customer of Airtel from past 3 YEARS, using your INTERNATIONAL ROAMING plans TWICE a year at least and this is the service I am getting. I really am regretting taking Airtel now.

Please help me with this. I HAD NO OTHER WAY to get this sorted.
