Text of Complaint by Namrata choudhary:

I wanted to change operator i.e. port (from jio to airtel) and shift from prepaid to postpaid. I reached my nearest airtel store i.e. located at Zone 2 , MP Nagar , Bhopal (462001) and apart from other information was informed that in case if in future I wish, I cannot shift from postpaid to prepaid for at least 6 months . When I called airtel customer care I was informed that the lock in period is 3 months and not 6 months. I went to the store again where the customer care executive who goes by the name Mr. Kamal Mishra literally harassed me verbally and denied to give postpaid sim. He said you can’t shift from postpaid back to prepaid for 6 months. I told him some 20 times that sir that is totally my concern. If I have any issues I have been assured by airtel online customer care executive that they will take care of the same but he raised his voice and told me “YOU CANNOT SHIFT” I told him how can you tell me what to do and what not to do. It’s against my fundamental right to speak/express/opine. But he dint really care and continued being rude to me. After mentally harassing me for an hour or so he somehow gave me the sim and I left the place. I had never thought this is how airtel treats its new customers who wish to join the airtel family.really really disappointed in airtel and would never suggest anyone to subscribe to their services .
