For long time I’ve been using Airtel and recently I tried to contact one of nearest airtel store to my place which is near JNTU hyderabad. I went to store and requested to port my second number to Airtel. While speaking to one of the reps over there he said instead of porting try addon number which is similar to porting were you can use both numbers in airtel number.
After agreeing to that here the issue began when I was porting out from Vodafone network to Airtel. At first porting request was denied by vodafone stating that I didn’t complete 90 days as its only 88 days completed so I decided to wait for couple of more days so I can port to Airtel. After 90 days of completion when I again went to Airtel store they said there might be issue that the new porting request might have updated with the old request so it was not processed. So why is Airtel incapable of porting a number even after completing 113 days on different network? When I tried contacting rep who works in the same store he stated wait for another week if it didn’t port you can try different networks? WHAT SERIOUSLY?? Is this the way they say they can’t do anything to this issue. If that was the case why did they waste my time and all efforts by postponing work schedule just to get this issue sorted. Till date my issue is not resolved just going to airtel store each and every day to get this issue sorted which never happened so far.
