Somehow i am getting some automated responses from nodal support, but i haven’t recieve any response from customer care yet.

Find the below trail mail for your reference.

Team,

I had tried several means to close a postpaid connection. But I am unable to do so. I tried reaching airtel store last week, but it remains closed due to lockdown. I tried calling customer care through 121 and 198. But unluckily, both are not connecting to representatives(option 9 to choose is completely missing in IVR). Even I tried a raise a complaint through app, But even there we are getting attached error. I agree that considering employee safety, you have very few resources currently working. But I didn’t find alteast a single mean to communicate with you and so finally writing this email to you.

We didn’t get proper instructions to close the connection. We were said “If unused, dongle will get deactivated automatically and can be activated back whenever required, paying the last due.” while purchasing. Dongle is left unused from very long time and there is no single byte of data used in it. Recently we got few calls threatening a case will be filed, if due will not be cleared. So I had cleared all the due(even invoice raised on inactive number) and shared the payment reference number to executive (TeleCaller: 9502790758) asking her to close the number permanently. Now another bill got generated and I tried calling back since last 2 days on same executive number (TeleCaller: 9502790758), But she is always responding “My went for lunch”, “We will check and call you back in 15 mins”, “My Sir just came from lunch, We will check and call you back”, Bla Bla Bla…

I had even paid bills raised on inactive number and asked to close the connection. But still you are generating bills. Why should I pay amount for the number that is in inactive state. This is completely insame and I am going to lodge a complaint in consumer court.
