I am writing to report a fraudulent job offer and payment request related to a work-from-home position. Below are the details of the incident:

I was contacted regarding a work-from-home job where I was required to convert images into PDFs. After completing the assigned task, I received confirmation that my salary would be credited on 21st December 2024. However, I later received a PDF with the following details:
Salary Received: Rs. 23,000/-
Incentives Added: Rs. 1,200/-
Joining Bonus Added: Rs. 1,000/-
Total Net Amount Received: Rs. 25,200/-
The HR representative then informed me that there was a “Small Digital Wallet Refundable Charge (DWRC)” of Rs. 1,669/- that needed to be paid before my salary could be credited. The message claimed this was a one-time payment and that my salary would be credited along with the Rs. 1,669/- within 30 to 45 minutes after the payment was made.
Given that legitimate employers do not ask for such upfront payments, I suspect this is a fraudulent attempt to scam me. I have made payment 1000.rs and I am seeking your assistance in investigating this matter.
